The school year is in full swing and I’m finding much enjoyment teaching at my daughter’s preschool coop and The New School of San Francisco where I’m teaching 4th and 8th graders Ukulele Marching Band. Recent albums I’m on by Arden Alexis, Deidre McCalla and Kyra Gordon are garnering lots of acclaim and I have some fun recording sessions coming up this fall, in addition to a busy freelance performance schedule.

I spent the first few months of the year in the pit of a wonderful, intense new musical called Swept Away at Berkeley Rep. With music by the Avett Brothers and a stellar cast and creative team, this show is most definitely Broadway bound! As appreciative as I am to have had steady work - 72 performances! - throughout the uncertainty of omicron, I’m really happy to be back to freelancing.
